Abso-friggin-loutely. This is what I have been trying to teach my husband for the twelve years we’ve been married — that even though outcomes may not be what we want, that we can choose to be joyful on the journey. That it’s okay to be happy even if things aren’t going well (and it’s okay to be sad, too). But most of all, that we can’t get back the time we’ve spent (wasted, even) worrying about the worst that can happen.
