The Orange OxHeart Heirloom Tomato has arrived. It has been V…E…R…Y slow. I love the orange color and can see now why it is associated with a heart. I can’t wait to see how the taste varies.
I did grow it, Mom! The plant was somewhat smothered by the others, so we gently pulled it out and separated it, trimmed some of the dead, and have it growing in a different direction away from the garden. Now there are plenty of baby orange oxhearts 🙂 Thankfully it’s still hot in San Diego!
