In the month of April, Greatist and Social Workout have joined forces to create a DIY Health Challenge. You can read more about the challenge and join, here. Full disclosure, this is my first experience with Social Workout, and I really like it! Reminds me of a social networking site for healthy living.
The April challenge will be a great way to keep myself motivated in a different way, as well as hold me accountable. It requires 20 minutes of strength training per day and cooking at least one healthy meal for yourself, per day. Then, you log what you do (of course you can go above and beyond the requirements!), and share with others. You can encourage others, share recipes, and there might be a little friendly competition. Join me! Grab some co-workers, friends, or neighbors and form a team today!
Let’s jump start spring 🙂
I am super, DUPER excited and honored to announce that I’ve been selected as a Greatist Ambassador for www.greatist.com! The ambassador program is about living well, making healthy choices, and inspiring others to do the same in a major way. Each ambassador has their own unique story 🙂
I’m thrilled to be welcomed into the inspiring Greatist Family, and look forward to brainstorming with my fellow ambassadors. I’m looking forward to connecting with the editorial team to impact what the website covers, features and shares (it’s a FABULOUS website on health, wellness, food, exercise, BTW).

Paleo…it’s a way of life, and a great one at that!
Here’s an awesome, brief article from http://greatist.com/ about the Paleo lifestyle: http://greatist.com/health/debunking-diets-paleo-facts/. It’s informative, but not overwhelming, and has a great basic explanation of what living Paleo is all about.
